0. I.F. 311 ' Isolated find 311 vas recorded is the access road right-of-vay about 250 meters east of the Bourg Coal property. The cultural material eomisted of one vhitn ehert flake fragaeat that is patiaated and shoes evideacn of utili.zatioa. No retouch was noted on this speclnen. E4rid- ease of "utilization noted during microscopic ~~~~tion included slight rounding of high pouts, sheen or polish oa the edge, and small step- fractures oriented dorsally oa the flake. The tool measures 37.1 c. in length, 29.2 mm. in width.aad 10.1 mm. is thickness. This isolated find is located approximately 250 meters vest of '.la:s Drav, and it is closer to the dray than any of the other cultural materials recorded during the survey. Vegetation and soils are relatively similar to those located at I.F. 310, with scattered grasses and phlox ewering a light brown sand- • soil. The artifact was found on the southeast slope of a small rise. Conclusions Four isolated finds, designated I.F. 308, 309, 3I0, and 311 were recorded while surveying 160 ac. es of 3ourg Coal property and t•:o ~cces< roads on October 28, 1978.
