4.14.3 Covering Coal and Acid-Forming and Toxic-Forming Materials <br />• The Bear Coal Company will not have any exposed coal seams re- <br />maining at the end of mining and reclamation. Permanent sealing <br />of portals is discussed in Section 4.07. <br />No acid-forming or toxic-forming materials have been encountered <br />during the past and present mining by the Bear Coal Company. <br />4.14.4 Thin Overburden <br />Because the Bear operation is an underground mine, the require- <br />ments of this Section are not applicable to the application. <br />4.14.5 Thick Overburden <br />Because the Bear operation is an underground mine, the require- <br />ments of this Section are not applicable to the application. <br />4.14_6 Regrading or Stabilizing Rills and Gullies <br />The implementation of mulching and soil stabilizations practices <br />outlined under Section 4.1514 will lessen the possibility that <br />erosion can become a serious problem.
