4.11 COAL PROCESSING WASTE <br />• The Bear Coal Company does not plan for a coal washing facility; <br />therefore, the requirements of certain parts of this Section are not <br />applicable to the operation. <br />4.11.1 Burning <br />The requirements of this Section are not applicable to the operation. <br />4.11.2 Burned Waste Utilization <br />The requirements of this Section are not applicable to the Bear <br />operation. <br />4.11.3 Return to Underground Workings <br />• The requirements of this Section are not applicable to the Bear <br />operation. <br />4.11.4 Disposal of Non-Coal Waste <br />Non-coal waste generated from the mining activities, will be stored in <br />the non-coal waste storage area. The non-coal waste will be hauled and <br />deposited at the designated approved landfill area in Delta County. As <br />stated in the Bear Coal Company permit application submitted to the <br />Division on February 16, 1981, the Bear Coal Company has reached an <br />agreement between Western Slope Carbon, Warren Cockroft, Albert <br />Cockroft, and the Delta County Commissioners for use of the designated <br />approved landfill area in Delta County. <br />A conscious attempt will be made by all individuals at the mining <br />operation to dispose of mine related garbage in the appropriate dump <br />location. <br />• <br />Revised May, 1987 <br />4.11-1R <br />
