<br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Division of Ivlinerals and Geology <br />Western Mobile Northern, Inc., a subsidiary of Lafarge; 1800 North Tafr Hill Road, P.O. Box <br />2187, Fort Collins, Colorado 80522, (970) 407-3654, has filed an application for a Regular (112) <br />Construction Materials Operation Reclamation Permit with the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board under provisions of the Colorado Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction <br />of Construction Materials. The proposed mine is known as the Loveland Pit, and is located at or <br />near Section 24, Township 5 North, Range 69 West, 6`h Prime Meridian. <br />The proposed date of commencement is July 1, 2000, and the proposed date of completion is <br />July 1, 2015. The proposed future use of the land is Wildlife Habitat. Additional information <br />and tentative decision date may be obtained from the Division of Minerals and Geology, 1313 <br />Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567, or at the Larimer County <br />Clerk and Recorder's office; 200 W. Oak Street, Fort Collins, Colorado, or the above-named <br />applicant. <br />Comments must be in writing and must be received by the Division of Minerals and Geology by <br />4:00 p.m. on Thursday,lVlay 18, 2000. <br />Note: A copy of this notice was originally sent via certified mail on 3/2/00. You are receiving a <br />second notice because the Division of Minerals and Geology requested additional information <br />from us before determining the application was complete. This extended out the final date for <br />comments from April 17, 2000 to May 18, 2000. <br />
