This explosives bunker area, <br />• which was constructed in 1975, is located in Section 31, Township 5 North, Range <br />86 West. <br />The site is a leveled, gaveled area with three concrete explosive magazines in <br />place to store blasting caps and delays and other sensitive explosives. Also, <br />tractor trailers containing explosives are parked in the leveled site of the <br />explosives bunker area. <br />Drainage fran the explosive bunker area will be collected in sedirmrtation Pond <br />T. This structure has been designed to meet the performance tta*+rra„~~ of <br />Subchapter K as described in Sec~t.ian 780.25. The explosive bunker and ~~me~t <br />Porn T has been transferred to Twentymile Coal Company, and they will be <br />responsible for reclaiming the site once it is no longer required for the <br />operation. The site has been removed fran Permit Renewal Map 5. <br />Railroad <br />• A twelve-mile railroad spur line connects the F1~et+gy Mine No. 1 with the east- <br />west railroad line of the Deriver and Rio ~Yarde Western Railroad Cortg~any (DR&CS~) . <br />This spur line was originally ooristructed in 1962 to service the E3rergy Mine No. <br />1 and ended just west of the Tipple No. 1. In 1974, the spur lire was lengthened <br />to service Tipple No. 2. <br />The railroad spur is owned and maintained by the DR&GS9. figure 24, Dristing <br />Railroad Cross Section, depicts a typical section of the railroad spur. <br />In ozder to acoonmiodate larger unit trains, CYCC is required to extend the length <br />of the PYlCt7M railroad spur. The railroad bad length will be extended <br />approximately 300 feet. Of this length, app~»tely 70 feet will be <br />constructed on a previously disturbed area. The extension will be constructed <br />per the specifications shown on Figure 24, Dcistirg Railroad Cross Section.
