• Zvi) Description of unavoidable hazardous conditions for <br />which deviations from the blasting schedule will be needed under 4,08,4(2); <br />and <br />(vii) On a map locate each explosive storage and handling <br />facility, <br />RESPONSE: <br />No surface blasting operations will be implemented within the proposed <br />permit area. Therefore, the requirements of this subsection are not <br />applicable. <br />(b) Descriptions, including appropriate maps, prepared according <br />to the standards of 2.10, and cross section drawings, of the proposed <br />disposal site and design of the spoil disposal structures according to <br />4.09. These plans shall describe the geotechnical investigation, design, <br />construction, operation, maintenance, and removal, if appropriate, of the <br />• site and structures and shall be prepared by a qualified registered <br />professional engineer. <br />(c) The results of a geotechnical investigation of the proposed <br />disposal site including the following: <br />(i) The character of bedrock and any adverse geologic <br />conditions in the disposal area; <br />(ii) A survey identifying all springs, seepage and ground <br />water flow observed or anticipated during wet periods in the area of the <br />disposal site; <br />(iii) A survey of the potential effects of subsidence of <br />the subsurface strata due to past and future mining operations; <br />• <br />2.05-21 <br />
