Stevens to Cheyenne County <br />Dear Mr. Stevens: <br />Enclosed is Cheyenne County's response to your Adequacy Review dated <br />August 23, 1999. <br />EXHIBIT B <br />Cheyenne County agrees with assignment of Vegetation and Soil <br />Characteristics to Exhibit B to satisfy requirements of Rule 6.3.2 (a). <br />Rule 6.3.2 (b). There is an existing barbed wire fence approximately I00' <br />north of proposed pit boundary. Owner of fence is Harold Rother who <br />Cheyenne County has entered into a lease with to operate this sand and <br />gravel pit. Property north of the fence is owned by L.D.S. Farms L.P. This <br />adjacent landowner will be notified in application packet sent Return <br />Receipt Request. There will be no disturbance to the fence structure. <br />EXHIBIT C <br />Rule 6.3.3. (b). Cheyenne County will salvage and stockpile topsoil and <br />subsoil to the 6" as recommended by the Soil Conservation Service. Topsoil <br />and subsoil will be stockpiled in the north part of the pit as outlined in <br />Exhibit C. <br />Rule 6.3.3 (c). When and where overburden is encountered, it will be <br />stockpiled as above. <br />Rule 6.3.3 (e). There will be no loading area road and no berm associated <br />with the loading area road. <br />Rule 6.3.3 (f). As mentioned in Addendum to Exhibit B, we have decided <br />that there will be no catch pond associated with this operation. <br />Rule 6.3.3 (g). No loading area road. <br />Rule 6.3.3 (I). No catch pond. <br />
