The waste dump to the South of the pit has not been <br />active since June 30, 1976. This waste dump and its inter- <br />connecting road was constructed during 1974 and 1975 as an <br />attempt to dispose of overburden material from the quarry and <br />build an alternate access road to the fertilizer plant site. <br />The Bureau of Land Management did not authorize this road, at <br />which time all material disposal and road construction <br />was ceased. <br />2.) This road is not part of the mining plan. <br />3.) The crusher-mineral stockpile and fertilizer plant <br />are included as part of this permit submittal No. 79-206 <br />Enclosures: <br />Exhibit A-1: Legal Description <br />Exhibit B-1: Index Map <br />Exhibit C-1: Premining & Mining Plan Map(s) <br />(Affected Lands) <br />Exhibit D-1: Mining Plan <br />Mining per se is not conducted upon the crusher-stockpile <br />site and/or the fertilizer plant site. Land and vegetation is <br />affected due to movement of equipment - building erection - haul <br />roads - employee parking - mineral stockpiles and processing. <br />The affected lands (17.96 Acres of moderate disturbance) as <br />portrayed upon the enclosed map are those lands which have been <br />and are being affected since 1976 by J.H. Lionelle d/b/a U.S. Soil <br />Conditioning Company. It is the intention of U.S. Soil to affect <br />• the land in the configuration as presently shown, well into the <br />future as this particular site will serve as a processing area <br />for other undeveloped mineral deposits in the regional vicinity. <br />Exhibit E-1: Reclamation Plan <br />Due to the condition that this subject area and the <br />immediate vicinity has been associated with mineral processing <br />
