-I1-
MR. BANTA: If we went to meet at the San Luis, I think we wauld have to
have a special board meeting to do it. We'd have to figure out haw to, only
because if you have a regular board meeting you are asking people from all
over the state to come to San Luis, too, and I don't know to what degree
that--.
MR. HOLDER: We could ao back to a two day meeting, where we have one day
at San Luis and one day here.
MR. BANTA: That's a good idea.
MR. DANIEL SON: Or perhaps we could compromise by meeting in Alamosa or--
MR. BANTA: That's a possibility, also.
MS. WINTER: The advantage, though, if you're at San Luis and then you
can actually see the site, you know, I mean it does make a difference in how
you perceive things.
MR. BANTA: What could you see at this point?
(INAUDIBLE CONYERSATIONI
MR. DANIEL SON: Mr. Massey?
MR. MASSEY: Just a point of clarification. We have a standing
invitation to the Board fora site visit at any time, we'll be happy to
arrange one between now and the Board meeting.
MR. O'CONNOR: I have some budgetary trepidations about that. We usually
have tried to get one field trip in a year. Perhaps this is the one. But I'm
worried that, well, its a legitimate request. I hate to see us sending out a
signal that everytime somebody has a significant issue that we're going to
have a hearing and they can just ask for the hearing to be held in the field
and we're doing to traipse across the state to do it.
And this is not an ideal time of the year to be out there, too.
