The major components of the mining operation will be an access route to the main
mining area as depicted on Exhibit E. The road will be approximately 15 feet wide. All
traveled surfaces will be graveled. There will be haul roads as determined by the location
of the material.
Pazking for employee vehicles, deliveries and equipment shall be designated on site in the
initial processing area adjacent to the access to the mine. There will be approximately 10
standard pazking spaces.
There aze no permanent buildings planned for this project at this time. Temporary
structures will consist of portable sanitary facilities and a potential portable office
building, if one is required. Portable crushing equipment will be brought to the site to
process the products.
Mining will start in the North Westem portion of the site. The applicant proposes to
mine a maximum of five acres at a time. The operator will start mining and contouring in
the keyhole in the North West corner in order to maintain the positive flow for
stormwater dischazge from the site.
In the South Eastern corner of the proposed 110 Pemut Area will be a 1.84 acre Initial
Processing Area. This azea will be used for processing and stockpiling the materials,
pazking, and the site for any tmporazy structures.
6.3.3 (t)
Please refer to Exhibit E. The berm along the lower 283 feet Western side and Southern
side of the property will be at the most 20 feet tall by 40 feet wide and will accommodate
12,100 cubic yards of topsoil. The overburden will be stored in the 388 feet in the upper
Westem side. The overburden storage berms will vary in depth from 20-30 feet by 40-60
feet wide.
6.3.3 (g)
The existing County Road 835C is approximately 14 feet wide and it is not anticipated
that this road will require any improvements.
The easement to access the property is approximately .06 acres and that acreage is
included in the application. The easement will be improved to approximately 15 feet
wide and graveled. The owner/operator is also the property owner of the easement. The
operator plans to reclaim the easement once the mining is complete.
There aze no anticipated issues with water run-off. The water will be allowed to run-off
as part of the natural flow. If in constructing any new roads and culverts aze necessary,
the drainage azea will be taken into consideration when sizing the culverts.
