• (2) Wyoming Fuel Company proposes to use reference
areas to evaluate the success of revegetation. The big sagebrush
and alkali sagebrush reference areas are shown on Figure 1F of
Appendix F and Figure 2 of this application. However, WFC will
only use the big sagebrush community for revegetation success
because the alkali sagebrush community was not disturbed.
(3) Sufficient area adjacent to the mine disturbance
is provided on the vegetation map to evaluate important habitat
for wildlife. See Figure 1F of Appendix F.
(4) A description including narrative and tables
regarding species composition cover, productivity and woody plant
density is presented in Appendix F. A discussion of vegetation
condition and trend is provided in Appendix H, page 29, EA No.
CO-010-81-53 and Appendix G, pages 1, 2, and 3.
• (5) No rare, threatened or endangered plant species
occur within the permit area (Appendix F).
2.04.11 Fish and Wildlife Resources Information
(1) Fish and wildlife resource information is present-
ed in Appendix G.
(2) Wyoming Fuel Company contacted the Division of
Wildlife and CMLRD to determine the scope of studies (see Attach-
ments 1G and 2G of Appendix G).
(3) Not applicable to Wyoming Fuel Company's discus-
sion since it is the Division's responsibility to determine the
level of detail and areas for such studies.
• -23- (Revised April 13, 1990)
