As Phase I (9.9 Acres) will be reclaimed while Phase II is in progress, the greatest
extent of disturbance will be at the end of Phase II. At that time, 30.1 Acres will be
unreclaimed. Reclamation costs are calculated using this 30.1 Acre figure.
1. Stripping Requiremeata - 50,000 cubic yazds of which a maximum of
20,000 cubic yards will be disturbed at any one time.
a. Replacement and Grading - at .30 per cubic yazd = S6,000.DO.
2. Soil Preparation - 30.1 Acres maximum at 5110 per Acre = 53,311.00.
3. Seeding - 30.1 Acres maximum at 5120 per Acre = 53,612.00.
4. Mulching - 2 Tons (straw) per Acre, mechanically crimped into the soil at
5215 per Ton, for 30.1 Acres maximum = 512,943.00.
Total = 525,866.00
Based on the mining plan and development schedule, we would re<:ommend a
floating bond of 525,866.00.
