1.7.1 1 Room, Habitab/e shall mean a space in a structure for <br />living, sleeping, eating, or cooking. Bathrooms, toilet <br />compartments, closets, halls, storage, garages or utility spaces, <br />and similar areas are not considered habitable space. <br />1.7.12 Rubbish (see trash) <br />1.7- °S„ <br />1 .7.1 Salvage Yard shall mean any area improved or unimproved <br />(1) upon or in which are stored or kept junk sa/vage materia/s, <br />scrap meta/s, inoperative vehicles and equipment, or any <br />combination thereof,• or (2) Upon or in which vehic%s, equipment, <br />or other property are dismant/ed or wrecked; or (3) Upon or in <br />which salvage materials, inoperative vehicles or equipment, or <br />parts therefrom, or scrap meta/s, or any combination thereof, are <br />kept for resa/e, or (4) a parce/ of /and, or portion thereof, used for <br />co/%cting, storage or sa/e of waste paper, rags, scrap metal or <br />discarded materia/. <br />Material or equipment kept on any premises for use in construction <br />of any building or such premises, and any material or equipment <br />customarily used on a farm or ranch, and so situated, shall not be <br />deemed junk or salvage material within the meaning of this <br />subsection. <br />1.7.2 SawMi//(see wood lot, commercial) <br />1.7.3 Schoo/ shall mean any building or part thereof, which is <br />designed, constructed, or used for education or instruction, <br />whether public er private. As used in this Zoning Regulation, <br />school used by itself shall only apply to facilities licensed by the <br />State which either meet the State requirements for elementary <br />education or which are a!~therized ±o a~r~ard diplomd5 for secondary <br />education. <br />Gilpin County Zoning Regulations 34 <br />
