Initial development road (upper road) <br />This road will remain in its existing condition, with minimal <br />maintenance to insure initial quarry operation. This road will <br />be rehabilitated and abandoned following initial use. <br />7. As requested by the applicant and in accordance with.Co-operative <br />Agreement CSO-147, the bond required by the State of Colorado, <br />Department of Mined Land Reclamation will statisfy Bureau of Land <br />Management bonding requirements. <br />8. If, during operations, the operator or any person working in his behalf, <br />discovers any historic or prehistoric ruin, monument or site, or any <br />object of antiquity subject to the Antiquities Act of June 8, 1906, (34 <br />Stat. 225, 16 U.S.C. Secs. 431-433), and 43 CFR Part 3, then work will <br />be suspended and the discovery promptly reported to the Area Manager. <br />The Bureau will then take such action as required under the Act and <br />regulations thereunder. 4lhen directed by the BLht authorized officer, <br />the operator will obtain, at his expense, a qualified archaeologist <br />to examine 'and, if necessary, excavate or gather such ruins or objects. <br />4!e are considering your plan to include the following information as <br />discussed with David Atkins of this office on June 4, 1982. <br />1. Three roads will be developed as part of the proposal. The lower road <br />will serve as a haul road for the facility, the middle road as parking <br />access and the upper road as a primitive development road. <br />2. A crusher, powder shed, and toilet will be the only structures located <br />on-site. <br />3.
