Dear Mr. Wear:
This is in reference to your plan of operations,CO-070-P-?,for your proposed
quarry in Section 36, Township 5 South, P.ange 89 West:
Your plan is approved subject to the following stipulations:
1. A17 operations associated with the proposed limestone quarry wi77
be conducted in conformance with the plan of operations submitted
by Mid-Continent Resources, dated May 19, 1982.
2. The existing Transfer Trail access road will be left open to public
use.
3. To mitigate unnecessary impacts on critical wildlife winter range,
limestone will not be quarried from December 15 to April 15 of any
given year. Truck hauling may continue yearlong.
4. Measures wi77 be taken as necessary to control fugitive dust associated
with the quarry operation and road use.
5. The quarry site will be maintained so as to prevent injury to animals
and people.
6. The three identified roads will be constructed and maintained to the
following standards.
a. Main haul road extension (lower road)
Width 2 lane - 24 to 28' subgrade plus ditch
Shoulders 0-2 ft. each side
Grades 11`,~ maximum
Curvature 230' radius (25°) if possible, 100' radius
(56 ) absolute minimum
Surfacing 6" depth crushed rock
