Suite 406 <br />Drawer 122 <br />Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 <br />Dear Mr. Wear: <br />This is in reference to your plan of operations,CO-070-P-?,for your proposed <br />quarry in Section 36, Township 5 South, P.ange 89 West: <br />Your plan is approved subject to the following stipulations: <br />1. A17 operations associated with the proposed limestone quarry wi77 <br />be conducted in conformance with the plan of operations submitted <br />by Mid-Continent Resources, dated May 19, 1982. <br />2. The existing Transfer Trail access road will be left open to public <br />use. <br />3. To mitigate unnecessary impacts on critical wildlife winter range, <br />limestone will not be quarried from December 15 to April 15 of any <br />given year. Truck hauling may continue yearlong. <br />4. Measures wi77 be taken as necessary to control fugitive dust associated <br />with the quarry operation and road use. <br />5. The quarry site will be maintained so as to prevent injury to animals <br />and people. <br />6. The three identified roads will be constructed and maintained to the <br />following standards. <br />a. Main haul road extension (lower road) <br />Width 2 lane - 24 to 28' subgrade plus ditch <br />Shoulders 0-2 ft. each side <br />Grades 11`,~ maximum <br />Curvature 230' radius (25°) if possible, 100' radius <br />(56 ) absolute minimum <br />Surfacing 6" depth crushed rock <br />
