during the summer of 1983, or 1984 if coal mining activities
remain depressed by national and world economic conditions. Each
year thereafter the quarry will be worked as indicated on the
maps at Exhibits C-2, C-4 and C-5 unless unforseen rock conditions,
that can only be finally determined as quarrying progresses,
require some modifications of the 40 year plan. Please note on
Exhibit Map C-2 the future transportation corridor. This will in
all probability hold a conveyor belt system and storage bins to
speed up transportation from the product storage site to the main
Transfer Trail haul road thus eliminating the steeper, narrower
road to the quarry.
6. The limestone "face" that will be quarried is at least
60' thick. The overburden is minimal except for the. bottom
portion of the face where the overburden has sluffed off and
washed down from the. upper portions of the face. See profile
chart at Exhibit C-3.
