Connell will grade final slopes to 3H:1 V or less steep from five feet above to ten <br />feet below the expected water elevation. These slope requirements are applicable <br />to the proposed islands. <br />D. The minimum depth of topsoil for reclaimed areas will be six inches. Stripped <br />topsoil will be stockpiled and used as a final layer of covering of reclaimed areas. <br />As stated eazlier the processing and materials stockpile area will be mobile and <br />will move with the mining progress. The processing equipment and product <br />stockpiles will be placed both in and out of [he pit. The location will be <br />dependent on which spot is more functional. <br />E. Connell will use the dry land seeding mixture recommended by the SCS Exhibit <br />E-2. <br /> <br />The wording in the third pazagraph on Page 8 of the application has been modified / ~;~ <br />to indicate what the operator will actually do (see enclosed Exhibit E). <br />The statement in the application commenting on the sediment and siltation <br />structures is referring to the settling pond. The settling pond will be backfilled <br />with overburden and covered with an minimum of six inches of topsoil. <br />4. Water Information <br />A. Addressed under Item 2A. <br />B. Connell will not remove the ditch that runs along the north, east, and south <br />boundaries of the property. <br />C. Connell has chosen [o have one dischazge point on the south. Exhibit C has been <br />modify to reflect this change. <br />~~ <br />The upgrading of the existing culvert under County Road # 36 is not expected to / ~ ~ ~ `d <br />be necessary. pes~~~*~^~" <br />D. The forthcoming statement from Alexander Grant states his commitment to use <br />his shazes of Box Elder Ditch water for the filling of the reservoir. <br />
