Regrading of Parking Lot: <br />The parking lot will be regraded as reconnlended by Dan <br />Rinehart in his letter of August 26, 1980 so that all <br />runoff will be diverted back taaards the road. A copy <br />of his letter is attached. Von McAllister, our mining <br />engineer at the mine, has made arrangements with Beaver's <br />Construction to take care of this item by September 15, <br />1980. <br />2. Slope Stability of the Parking Lot: <br />I am sorry it took so long to answer this concern. However, <br />the laboratory which was analyzing our soils, requested by <br />Dan Rinehart, had som? trouble with their equipment and we <br />could not get any results. In any event, from the tests <br />they were able to run, Dan Rinehart determined that there is <br />no problem with the slope stability. A wpy of his letter and <br />the lab tests are attached. <br />3. Reta;n;nq Walls Above the Portals: <br />Drawings of the retaining walls to be built above the portal <br />areas aze included. Also, the disturbed area will be revege- <br />tated as soon as construction of the retaining walls is <br />ceam~~leted. <br />• <br />
