Division of Minerals an~ology •
Mazeh 10, 2000
2. The haul operations of these heavy trucks will also cause extraordinary damage to the
roadway system used to transport the materials. Neither Brighton Road nor East 112"'
Avenue ere designed to accommodate the number of heavy trucks that this operation will
produce, and there is no reliable mechanism to ensure that these roadways can be kept in
good condition given this type of use.
In conclusion, this proposal is extremely concerning. Unless the issues outlined above can be
resolved, the proposal should be considered a ha2ard for the storm water drainage and
transportation system, and an unwise use for the area.
If you have any question please feel free to call me at 303-289-8175, or Edwazd Stafford at
303-289-8172.
Sincerely, ~~~~
Darer A.
