In some cases we will have to use extreme <br />care with mulch and seeding to provide the best possible environ- <br />ment for seeding to be successful. Item 10 refers to the Watkins Pit and a conforming <br />statement made by D.O.W, personnel concerning river related <br />concerns. This is a Dry Pit on a bluff. The Uncompahgre Fiver <br />lies approximately 400' west of the west boundary of the permit <br />area. Please find attached, a corrected wildlife evaluation <br />obtained from the local D.O.W. office. <br />Also, File #83-161 deals with a River Pit.
