If any ansxer is not satisfac0ory, <br />please feel free to call or xrite and xe x111 provide further <br />clarification. Please refer to your letter of the 12th for <br />the questions asked. <br />Mining Plan <br />1. Stripping Prom our operation ie placed against the Oreat <br />Western holding. dikes and is used to construct a permanent <br />roadxay approximately 100 ft. aide that will be used by <br />Great Western Sugar Co. This roadxay is about 10 Peet <br />above the riverbottom. This material can be used at a <br />later time to be spread out on reclaimed land Pilled by <br />fine material (spoils) processed through our plant. <br />2. Overburden consisting of sand and clay is approximately <br />5 feet over the future mining area. <br />3. &xtraction is proceeding to the West. <br />lt. Hcpected lifespan of this operation is about 10 (ten) years. <br />$. Less than ?0,000 tons per year are extracted. Our estimate <br />is lt0,000 ton per year. <br />6. Flume pipe and former pit is contained in the proposed <br />affected land aroa. <br />7. The former pit is n pond that is connected to the present <br />mining area. Dementions are approximately 300 ft. by 300 ft., <br />but are alxays changing as mined fine material from ovr <br />plant are placed back into the former mined area to act <br />as fill. <br />
