<br />• 4. Stored topsoil will be distributed as evenly as possible over the disturbed pad <br />area. <br />~. The entire drill pad area will be re-seeded using an approved USFS send mix. <br />The following seed mix has been approved by the USFS for drill sites on <br />adjacent lands: <br />Species <br />PLS Ib/Acre <br />Mountain Brome - Bromus marginatus 5 <br />Prairiejunegrass - Koelaria cristata 4 <br />Slender Wheatgrass -Ao opyron trachycaulum 4 <br />Blue Bunchgrass - Agropyron spicatum 4 <br />Sandburg bluegrass - Poa sandburgii 4 <br />This seed mixture will be a minimum of 90 percent pure live seed and applied <br />at the rate of 40 pounds per acre. <br />6. The pad areas will be fertilized (30-0-0, minimum NPK), seeded with the <br />• ~ approved seed mix, and mulched (certified weed-free straw). <br />7. The access roads will be restored as closely as possible to the approximate <br />orieinal contour, re-seeded, fertilized, and mulched as above. <br />8. The drill pads and access roads reclamation procedure outlined above will <br />apply only to those areas newly disturbed for this proposed project. Existing <br />roads will be left in a condition equal to or better than that observed upon <br />MCC's entry into the area or to the satisfaction of the USFS representative. <br />9. Any coal recovered incidental to this Project will be in the form of cuttings or <br />core and will either be taken back to the mine site or disposed of in the mud <br />pits. <br />ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE <br />The road construction is expected to commence as soon as approval is granted by the <br />CDMG and BLM. Duration of the project will be a function of the success of the initial <br />drilling.
