During
non-use times, equipment will be parked near the topsoil piles.
(c) There are no water diversions and impoundments.
Brunker Creek does flow through the site. It is a dry creek bed.
Attached is a monthly prec-ipitation report from the USDA-ARS
Central Great Plains Research Station at Akron, Colorado, for 93
years. The yearly average over this time span for the area is 16.5280
nches, or 1.3773 inches a month average. We have no records of the
actual creek flow. This creek only flows 1-3 times a year when a
heary thunderstorm is in the vicinity of the site, the creek may run for
one day and is gone. No excess runoff, just the natural flow that is t
here now. All of the creek area will be mined, there will be no water
divereted. No work wilt be in progress when the creek is Rowing and
no mining material will be discharged down the creek area because
the site will be kept clean.
(d) The size of the areas to be worked at any one time will be approximently
10 acres each.
(e) An approximate timetable for the mining operation is to start as soon as
the application is approved and then till the gravel is depleted, which
should be several years.
(f) In conjunction with the map that is included for Exhibit C-Pre-mining and
Mining Plan, the overburden will be approximently one to three
