EXIF~BIT C -MINING PLAN <br />Mining will begin when the permit is awarded. The life ofthe pit will be about 25 <br />years. <br />Mining will move from south to north with about 4" of topsoil pushed south and 6" to <br />8" of overburden pushed north. This process will be done with use of dozer and loader. <br />Some overburden will be used to make a berm on the east side of the pit to prevent water <br />runoff from entering the pit. <br />Gravel will be pushed to stockpiles and ioaded to trucks by a loader as needed. <br />Gravel will be hauled east to County Road 78 on a pit road that will be 2,406' long and <br />20' wide. <br />This is a dry pit and no water will be used. The ground water will not be distrubed as <br />it is much deeper that the 15' to 25' depth of the pit. <br />There will be no crushing or screening operations at the pit site. <br />
