In conlotmance with Rule G.3.3, please clanil'y the maximum disturbance to be <br />expected at arty one time throughout the fife of the operation, i.u.: maximum pit <br />dimensions 8c depth, tnvtimum volume of overburden to he stockpiled, maximum <br />volume of topsoil to be salvaged and stockpiled for reclamation, and maximum <br />number of acres to he re-vegetated. <br />We would anticipate that the n-aximum disturbance open atone time will be about 2 <br />acres. That would encompass are area approximately 3UU' x 300' x 2U' in depth. <br />Overall maximum pit dimensions will be approximately G57' by 65T as shown un <br />tLe original Mining Plan drawing. in the original application we indicated that the <br />top 4-5 feet below the topsoil is not suitable for manufacturiug concrete. However, <br />it will be mined and sold for landscaping ur rrther construction purposes. '!'here is <br />no intent of any stockpiling of this overburden. The estimated 4" of topsoil at the <br />site will be stockpiled as each arcs is opened. The maximum volume of that <br />stockpile is anticipated to he about 5300 col>ic yards. All of that stockpile will be <br />salvaged for use in reclamation. '1'hcn entire 9.9 acres will be re-vegetated during <br />reclamation. <br />2. The applicant specifies that the waicr table below the site is approximately 25-3U <br />feet and that the anticipated mining depth will be 20 Cora. Please commit to <br />limiting the excavation to no more than two (2) feet above the groundwater <br />surlaec, and to immediately backfilling any exposed groundwater if encountered <br />throughout the mining operation. <br />
