Reclamation Year Phase Relation to Mining Phases and Reclamation Activities Partial Reclamation 1-2 Phase 1 Mining of the Phase 1$ mining azea should take 2+ years. Partial reclamation of this area will begin with the bacldlling of sediments created during the processing of the mined sand and gravel. At the termination of mining, this area will have been backfilled to a level to support wetland vegetation at the conclusion of all mining, but no additional reclamation will be undertaken until the completion of all mining within the permit boundary and termination of the plant site operations. Reclamation 1-4 Phase 1 The slurry wall should be installed within 1± year. Reclamation of the areas disturbed by slung wall construction will constitute part of Reclamation Phase 1. The excavated area over the slurry wall will be covered with overburden and 6-12"± of topsoil and revegetated with non-irrigated grasses as outlined on page 6. Except for a periphery road between the slurry wall and fencing, the area between the fence and edge of excavation will be maintained with non-irrigated grasses as outlined on page 6, and no additional reclamation activities should be required, except for replanting as needed for up to a 3 year period. Reclamation 1-4 Phase 1 ytecsttiir _ Reclamation of the areas disturbed by installation of the conveyor's support structures will constitute part of Reclamation Phase 1. Any areas disturbed in the installation of the support structures will be revegetated with non- irrigated grasses as outlined on page 6, and no additional reclamation activities should be required, except for replanting as needed for up to a 3 year period. Reclamation 2-6 Phase 2 - Mining of the Phase 2 mining area should involve 2+ years. The area will be Reclamation Phase 2. All backfilling, sloping, replacement of 6-12"+ topsoil, and revegetation with non-irrigated grasses as outlined on page 6 should begin within the phase after mining is completed in this phase. Revegetation of non- irrigated grasses as outlined on page 6 should begin in the 3rd year, be completed in the 4d' year, and be fully established by the 6'" year.
