The estimate is based on a commitment to mine at 2:1 <br />slopes and reclaim to 3:1 as well as leaving the haul road for future land uses. The seed mix proposed <br />by the NRCS is not ideal in the Division's opinion for rangeland, however since the site area will most <br />likely be used for a home site after mining, it appeazs to be sufficient. <br />Please find enclosed the "Initial Reclamation Liability Estimate ". Staff estimates that the reclamation <br />cost for this site is $22,803.00. Remember that this is the cost the Division would incur if the site went <br />in to default, not necessarily what it would cost the operator to accomplish the same tasks. <br />Review the estimate carefully and if there aze any errors or corrections that affect the tasks notify staff <br />immediately.
