~'c <br />i>~ <br />112 2 2 <br />The area will contain no water diversion or impoundment other <br />than a galvanized steel water tank of 20,000 gat. capacity for domestic <br />and fire-fighting use. <br />The size of the area of major disturbance is 1.9 acres which <br />is old dump area. The area of moderate disturbance including the haulage <br />road.to the mill is 4.5 acres. <br />112 2 h <br />Shaft rehabilitation including guide change will be completed in <br />April. of 1.981. Initial development including pockets, drifts, raises <br />and stope development will be completed in March of 1982 and stoping wilt <br />commencer Further development to prepare blocks of•ore will continue in <br />sequence as required. <br />b) C-7 Zone <br />The surface plant area is located on a moderately sloping hill- <br />side adjacent to the Cresson Mine Surface Plant (inactive). <br />112 2 f <br />The C-7 Ore Zone is nearly vertical striking northerly. The '~ <br />rockois igneous in origin.. Access to the zone will be through a decline ~~''~~ <br />at 8 which will flatten out under the ore zone. Mining will be done~lo~y ~•='x <br />by a modified sub-level stoping method. Raises will be driven from ~ ~y <br />the haulage to the surface for ventilation and secondary access. A g e,J <br />crown pillar will be left at the surface to prevent subsidence. ~` ~-~.~~ <br />Surface preparation will include a trench cut in line with the ~•' <br />decline in which a 50 foot tunnel liner will be conStrucbdd. This area <br />will be back-filled to form the portal of the decline. Minor amounts of <br />earth work will be required to level out for a compressor building <br />foundation and a water tank. <br />The area at the portal will•be built up to the south in a fan- <br />shaped configuration with waste rock from the decline and haulage to <br />form a flat surface area. This will be utilized for storage of <br />material and later storage of rock either on the ground or in a bin <br />for transportation to the mill. <br />The surface area will have no water impoundments. <br />The size of the area of major disturbance will be 1.0 acres. ~~~` <br />This will include the surface plant and three areas along the line of the a~ <br />decline and haulage where .the overburden will be removed to permit ~~ ' a'~ <br />raises from below to come to the surface in competent rock. la~L ~~ls •'~L <br />~ cam. <br />The surface plant preparation will begin. in December of 1980 6 ~ ~~,~ ~ ''~ <br />and be completed in February of 1981. The decline and initial portion <br />of the haulage will be completed by July of 1981.
