the BLM informing him of our plans and we also sent a certified copy of the newspaper
notice to him, he did not feel any of this would be a problem.
EXHIBIT C
The washing of materials process to handle run off will go as follows:
There will be a collection azea under the washing unit. The drainage from the collection
azea will be sent through a pipe back into the recharge pit with the pipe nrnning through
the bean which runs around the edge of the recharge pit. Any materials stock piled after
washing would have a relatively small amount of water still in them since most of the
water would come out as it is being washed. But the stockpile area would be graded to
feed any water left in stock pile back to the collection area and then on back into the
recharge pit.
EXHIBIT D
The berm aoound the outside of the rechargelgravel pit area will be a permanent fixture.
This azea is already vegetated. This vegetation is mostly weeds, however, with water in
the pit the weeds will always over take and grass we might plant. This is also the same
way in all of our ditches for our farm.
On the North pit, we will slope the areas as we dig the materials out from inside the pit.
Any area which we remove topsoil we will stockpile this topsoil on phase 3 section 25 of
this project at a 3 to 1 slope and reseed the stockpile of top soil with dryland grasses to
control weeds and erosion.
EXHIBIT F
We have included drawings which show you where the roads go into the recharge pit
areas and the North pit area.
I will send you a copy of the certified mail receipt as soon as 1 have it. There will be two
receipts one of delivery of new information the County clerk and the other where we have
sent a copy of the notice of our proposed mining operation which was in the Valley
Courier paper to Bill Miller of the BLM since our property does adjoin theirs and will be e
within 200 ft of the North pit area.
The drawing depicts the slope during construction.
We will also be outlining the boundary for the pit by setting a comer post at each of the
four corner boundaries of the pit and steel posts every 50 feet there after in between the
corner posts. This will keep our boundary clear so that we will stay within the designated
area as shown on the drawing for the North pit Section 25. The pit located in section 36
which is the rechargeJgravel pit is bordered by an existing berm and will always remain, so
we will stay inside the designated area for removal of materials. Our stock pile area will
