EXHIBIT B - IdINING PLAN <br />Access to the JD-6 mine site will be via one mile <br />along the 1•tonogram Truck route, which leaves Colorado <br />Highvray 90 about 10.4 miles wrest of Naturita, Colorado, <br />thence easterly for one-half mile along the existing mine <br />haul road to the Duggan Adit portal and surface site. <br />PROPOSED N~INING I~THOD <br />An agree,~ent has been made with Atlas P4inerals Division <br />of Atlas Corporation to use the Duggan Adit for entry to the <br />C-JD-6 ore deposit. Haulage will be by a diesel motor and 32 <br />cubic feet capacity sidedwnp cars. The use of the existing <br />18 inch gauge track will continue. <br />A development drift 2450 feet long at an average grade <br />of +3,~ vrill be driven westerly from near the end of the <br />Duggan Adit through Block C-JD-6 to surface hole JD-98. This <br />development will be driven on the ore level with rubber tired, <br />diesel povrered equipment, and will be 8 x 9 feet in cross- <br />section. <br />After the ore has been outlined through the development <br />phase, a modified room and pillar method of mining will be <br />employed using the diesel powered equipment. The ore will be <br />trammed along the development drift to a loading pocket at <br />the end of the Duggan Adit. From here the ore will be trans- <br />ferred to the rail cars and trammed out the Duggan Adit to the <br />surface stockpiles. <br />
