[Added <br />11/29/77] <br />Sewage and waste water will be disposed of through a septic <br />tank and leach field system approved by the Colorado State Public <br />Health Department. Solid waste will be disposed of by burying in <br />the waste rock dump. <br />Liquid storage, primarily fuels and lubricants, will be stored <br />in elevated tanks for gravity feed. These will be located in <br />compliance with MESA regulations. Also, the storage area will be <br />drained so that, in case of accidental spillage, the fluids will <br />flow into an adequate containment pond and will not enter the <br />natural drainage channels. <br />ORE DEPOSIT INFORMATION <br />Uranium and vanadium mineralization occur as roll type, <br />laminar, and solution front deposits within the third rim of the <br />Salt Wash Member of the Morrison Formation. <br />There are two horizons within the Third Rim Sandstone. The <br />first lies approximately in the middle of the rim at a depth of <br />630-650 feet. The second is located near the base of the third rim <br />at a depth of 700-725 feet. <br />The thickness of the ore body averages approximately 3.75 <br />feet. <br />No overburden will be removed, as the incline already exists. <br />Only waste between ore will be removed.
