All reclamation will be of the dryland <br />type without benefit of irrigation. <br />The proposed seed mixture is readily available at several <br />commercial seed dealers in the Grand Junction and Montrose area. <br />Preferred time of planting is late summer to early fall. <br />{Money has been allocated in the proposed Western Slope <br />operations budget for test plots. Hopefully, such factors as most <br />advantageous species, seeding rates, fertilization, mulching, etc., <br />can be experimented with using mine dump material as a growing <br />medium.
