The <br />results are to be reported on the DhIR tinder parameter 03582. <br />There was a typographical error noted in the current permit, Pan /.B.l.b. (page I4J, regarding the saneple <br />type for chronic WET testing. This was changed to 3 grabs per test in 1994 via antendrnent number I to the <br />previous permit but riot carried over in the current renewal permit. This is being corrected in this amendment. <br />6Vinter Monitoring Exe~tian: The previous monitoring exemption allowed mont/rly monitoring in lieu of <br />weekly rnor~itoring for pH, oil & grease and flow during the period from November through February due to <br />adverse tiveatlter conditions. The permittee asked that this e.xemptiort be extended to outfalls 014, 0/~, 016 and <br />0! 7. The permittee's representanve was recently injured in the course of nuempting to obtain samples required <br />under this permit. To protect personnel safety, the exemption will be modi~Red to suspend monioringg of the <br />affected outfnlls (004, 005, 008. 009. 011, 014. 015, 016 and 017J during periods when access tivould be <br />• hazardous to rite personal health and safety of personnel. This is consistent with monioring erentptions granted <br />to other pemuttees and is the only basis under which the Division believes there is justification for granting <br />such an exemption. See Pan LB.I of the permit. A previous esemption for Y17tole Effluent Toxicity testing for <br />ouljalls 004 and 008 for the first calendar gunner is carried forward and LVET resting is included in this <br />esemption beyond rite first quarter when innccessihilirv is doaunenred as described hereir7 <br />
