i <br />EXHIBTT D <br />RECLAMATION PLAN <br />The reclamation of the affected land will be reclaimed to rangeland and a hay stackyard. <br />The post mining land is consistent with adjacent land. Side slopes will be no greater than <br />3:1 and the floor of the mined area will be at a slope of no less the one percent. <br />Compacted areas will be ripped during reclamation and all excess pit fines, and pit waste <br />material will be placed in a course directly above the previously mined areas. Topsoil <br />which was stockpiled, will be spread evenly over the re-contoured side slopes to a depth <br />of 6 inches or more.. Seeding will be done in accordance with the recommendation of the <br />Natural Resources Conservation Service. <br />A Pit fines and pit waste material will be placed atop the pit floor. <br />B. Side slopes will be no greater than 3:1 and the floor of the mined area will be at a <br />slope of no less than one percent. <br />C. (i) Topsoil which was stockpiled, will be spread evenly over the re-contoured <br />side slopes to a depth of 6 inches or more. <br />(ii) Seeding of the side slopes will be done in the late fall (September 1st or <br />later) prior to the soil freezing. No fertilizer will be applied. <br />(iii) The following grass species will be used to reseed the site. Due to the relatively small size of <br />this disturbed site existing native grasses, forbs and shrubs should invade <br />and diversify the site. <br />
