(Golder) is pleased to submit this weekly summary of Phase Na Construction <br />Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of Mazch 25a' <br />through Mazch 3151, 2001. <br />The weather during this reporting period was clear to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures <br />ranged from I 1 ° F to 27° F, with highs ranging from 40° F to 49° F. Overnight snow was recorded on <br />the night of March 29a'. Weather observations were made on the five days worked of this seven-day <br />reporting period. <br />Construction Synopsis <br />Ames Construction Ina (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthwork contractor for the Phase IVa <br />construction. Ames conducted Phase IVa construction activities on four days during this seven-day <br />reporting period. <br />Ames resumed Phase N construction activities by conducting subgrade preparation and slope <br />recontouring in Upper Arequa Gulch between Highway 67 and the existing overburden stockpile on <br />March 26-28 and Mazch 30. Ames placed Structural Fill borrowed from the mine overburden stockpile. <br />Field Monitorine and Testine Activities <br />Golder monitor slope recontouring, including verification of lift thickness, material, compactive <br />effort, moisture content, and maximum particle size for compliance with drawings and <br />specifications.
