' Mr. Joe M. Kinard -3- • March 11, 1983
Fxhihit F
Are the gravel roads to be left as access to the reclaimed pit (as shown
on the map) in final reclamation, or are they to be reseeded? Either
decision as acceptable; I would simply like this point clarified.
Exhibit L
I have enclosed a copy of•our performance warranty form. Please fill this
!out and have it signed by the chariman of the Crowley County Commissioners and
\~return it to us. Thais is supplied by counties as a guarantee of reclamation
in lieu of a financial warranty.
Fxhihit M
Is any approval of Crowley County gravel pits required from the county
zoning process? In other words, is this site properly zoned for mining,
~., or is some type of use permit required? (This may sound like a foolish
question, but in some• cases, counties have discovered that their own gravel
pits are not properly zoned.)
Exhibit N
I Is a fugitive dust permit from the Colorado Department of Health required
for crushing activities in this pit? If so please supply us with proof of
this permit or your application for it.
Before our Board can consider this application, our Division must receive
proof of the four seouential weeks of publication in a local newspaper
(publisher's affidavit or copy thereof) and proof of notification of all
immediately adjacent landowners (green certified mail return receipts or
copies thereof). Please supply these at your earliest convenience.
I realize that I have asked several questions about this application.
However, I feel that these are mostly clarification questions and should
be relatively easily answered. If you can ans~rer my letter promptly,
we should still be ready for the March 23-24, 1983 Board meeting. If
all these matters can be settled, this matter can be handled as a "no
problem", written presentation to the Board, and you will not need to be
present at the meeting.
Please feel free to call me if I can be of any assistance.
Sincerely,
`~-d-~.ez -~ ~~
Mark S.
