<br />filling shall be made in six-inch lifts and mechanically tamped and packed, and the last twelve inches of back fill;
<br />shall be of stable granulaz material such as crushed rock or gravel.
<br />Where the installation crosses the roadway,,it shall.be jp~p{~ ~i-
<br />lOl~. as nearly perpendicular to the roadway as. physically possible l~7ti;
<br />Where the installation crosses any ditches, canals or water carrying structures, wherever possible it shall be pushed,
<br />through and beneath in a pipe larger diameter thereby eliminating the necessity of trenching. In no case shall the.
<br />flow of water ever be impaired or interrupted. '

<br />This work must be accomplished iri accordance with accepted good practices and conform to the recommends
<br />lions of the National Electric Code and to such Colorado statutes as are applicable.
<br />All construction operations involving excavation and trenching, both public and private, shall be made subject
<br />to the rules and regulations set forth by the Industrial Commission of Colorado. Excavating and trenching shall be:
<br />construed to mean any opening or cavity in the ground formed by cutting, digging or scooping and which is five
<br />or more in depth.

<br />The Permittee shall maintain the installation at all times and agrees to hold the State of Colorado, the agencies
<br />thereof, and their officers and employees harmless from any and all loss and damage which may arise out of or be:
<br />connected with the installation, maintenance, alteration, removal, or presence of the installation herein referred to
<br />or any work or facility connected therewith, within the Arta covered by this permit.
