Grace and Company to <br />Hayden Gulch Terminal, Inc. of all rights held under permit No. <br />5-7-77 is granted this date 11-27-92. <br />The meeting you set up for Larry Matlock with Charles B. D7cCulloh <br />on November 18, 1992 at the rail crossing went off as planned. He <br />advised Larry at that time that your company was wanting to <br />reopen the rail crossing for use within a year. With that in <br />mind the Department would like to address the issues required to <br />reinstall the rail crossing. <br />In order to work within Highway 40 Right-of-Way, certain <br />requirements need to be met: <br />1. A traffic control plan shall be submitted and approved by <br />Colorado Department of Transportation. <br />2. A Certificate of insurance shall be submitted and approved <br />by the Colorado Department of Transportation. (to meet or <br />exceed Insurance Requirements on the attached sheet under <br />O) . <br />Pavement markings in advance of a grade crossing shall consist of <br />an X, the letters RR,.a no passing marking (2-lane roads), and <br />certain transverse lines. Identical markings shall be placed in <br />each approach lane on all paved approaches to grade crossin:~:: <br />where grade crossing signals or automatic gates are located, and <br />at all other grade crossings where the prevailing speed of tiigti- <br />way traffic is 40 mph or greater. These markings shall be placed <br />in each approach lane 800 feet from the location of the automatic <br />gates and shall be reflectorized. The stop bar at the croscinr~ <br />shall be placed 20 feet in each approach lane prior to the <br />automatic gates and shall also be reflectorized.
