• Sunbelt will establish a ground cover of living plants that will not be <br />less than can be supported by the graded overburden in the reaffected <br />area, will not be less than the ground cover existing before <br />redisturbance, and will be adequate to control erosion. <br />4.15.8 Revegetation Success Criteria <br />As mentioned in Section 4.15.7, the area far surface facilities of the <br />Peacock Coal Mine has been previously disturbed by past mining <br />operations. Therefore, the requirements of Section 4.15.10 will apply <br />to the application. <br />4.15.9 Revegetation Success Criteria: Cropland <br />No cropland will be reestablished on the reclaimed areas; therefore, <br />the requirements of this Section are not applicable to Sunbelt. <br />• 4.15.10 Revegetation Success Criteria: Previously Mined Lands; Areas <br />to be Develo ed for Industrial or Residential Use <br />As stated in Section 4.15.7 and Section 4.15.8, the area of surface <br />facilities incidental to the underground mining operations is <br />approximately 7 acres in size and has been disturbed by past underground <br />mining operations. Therefore, Sunbelt proposes to establish a minimum <br />ground cover of living plants that will not be less than can be <br />supported by the best available soil material in the reaffected areas, <br />will not be less than the ground cover existing before redisturbance, <br />and will be adequate to control erosion. <br />Because of the previous disturbance by past underground mining <br />operations, no topsoil is available for reclamation purposes. <br />C~ <br />4.15-3 <br />
