Routt loam (2VD) Continued. <br />• <br />blocky structure; soft, friable, slightly sticky, slightly plastic, <br />neutral; clear wavy boundary. <br />B21t - 26 to 38 inches; yellowish brown (lOYR 5/4) clay loam, dark <br />yellowish brown (lOYR 4/4) moist, some light gray (lOYR 7/2) bleached <br />sand grains on ped faces, pale brown (lOYR 6/3) moist; moderate medium <br />subangular blocky structure; hard, firm, sticky, plastic, neutral, <br />gradual wavy boundary. <br />B22t - 38 to 44 inches; yellowish brown (lOYR 5/4) heavy silty clay <br />loam, dark yellowish brown (lOYR 4/4) moist; moderate medium and fine <br />subangular blocky structure; hard, very firm, very sticky, very plastic; <br />• moderately thick clay films on ped faces and in pores; organic stains on <br />30 percent of ped faces; neutral; gradual smooth boundary. <br />B23t - 44 to 60 inches; light yellowish brown (lOYR 6(4) heavy silty <br />clay loam, dark yellowish brown (lOYR 4/4) moist; moderate medium and <br />fine subangular blocky structure; hard, very firm, very sticky, very <br />plastic; neutral. <br />Thickness of the mollic epipedon ranges from 17 to 30 inches. An A2 <br />horizon may be present in some pedons, ranging in thickness from 2 to 10 <br />inches.
