This may indicate that aeolian deposition is ongoing in the
area.
Tom Hurst of Yfestenn Slope Carbon pointed out an interesting section
corner marker in this area. The marker consists of a sandstone slab with a slash
chiseled in two perpendicular faces. Other equipment recorded in
the power plant includes two Taylor Stokers, and General Electric Turbines. Ap-
pendix B contains data available from Oliver Power Plant machinery.
Two structures exist dust west of the power plant. George Norris, the
original poerer plant operator, lives in the larger house.
Structural resins exist in the tJorth Fork floodplain in the vicinity of
the Oliver Power Plant.
