• s <br />400 ounces of silver. <br />-s- <br />There are scattered prospects of precious metals, base <br />metals, and pegmatites along the mountain front to the <br />east and northeast of the subject tract. <br />The Dimmick Gulch area contains gossan in lower paleozoic <br />limestones and quartzite on a possible thrust fault. The <br />area has been explored for precious and base metals and <br />contains trace amounts of gold, si]ver, cobalt, arsenic, <br />moltbdenum and lead. <br />None of the many prospects contain much past production <br />or future potential for deposits which could impact on <br />the proposed permit. <br />The immedite area has not been explored for leasable <br />minerals. Salable minerals have been developed in <br />numerous areas from the alluvial material along the <br />Sangre de Cristos. <br />
