Splitro (46+R8) <br />. The Splitro series is a member of the loamy, mixed family of Lithic <br />• Cryoborolls. <br />Typifying Pedon: Splitro sandy loam <br />All 0-12"---Very dark grayish brown (lOYR 3/2) sandy loam, very <br />dark brown (lOYR 2/2) moist; weak coarse subangular blocky <br />parting to weak fine granular structure; soft, very fri- <br />able, non-sticky, non-plastic; neutral; clear smooth <br />boundary. <br />A12 12-18"--Dark grayish brown (lOYR 4/2) sandy loam, very dark <br />grayish brown (lOYR 3/2) moist; weak coarse subangular <br />blocky parting to weak moderate subangular blocky struc- <br />ture; soft, very friable, non-sticky, non-plastic; neu- <br />tral; abrupt smooth boundary. <br />• R -18"Fractured hard sandstone. <br />• Depth to bedrock ranges from 8 to 20 inches.
