to

23. Site Maps (N-I thru N-4 and N-6 thru N-9) - can be archived since they deal with the
construction aspects of the Minc operation and will likely no longer be useful, except
possibly to assist with the final phases of mine reclamation. Haul Road Profile
drawing (N-l0) may need to be revised in accordance with recent revisions to 4.03.1
and 4.03.2, and to provide for rcdesignation as "access" roads, consistent with
reclaniation versus mining activity.
24. Improvements Drawings (Appendix "O") - should be reviewed for deletion archive in
its entirety. Certainly the drawings for the Truck Dump, Coal Storage Pile, Live
Storage Coal Pile, Truck Loadout, etc. should be removed from the active Permit
record since they no longer exist. Shop/Office drawings could remain useful for
maintenance purposes and to resolve possible final reclamation questions.
25. Electrical Distribution System drawings (Appendix "P") - relate almost exclusively to
a system which was sold to, and is now operated and maintained by Public Service
Company of Colorado. As such these drawings can also be deleted/archived.
26. Reclamation support maps and drawings (Appendix "Q") - this section would be
enhanced by the removal, [o archive, of maps supporting earlier permit extensions, in
favor of those most recently drafted with final reclamation and post mining hydrology
specifically in mind.
Note: These maps (3) have been added to the Appendix but not yet identified, pending
approval.
27. The Revision to allow use of "coal fines" on roads (Appendix "R") may either be
deleted or archived since it is no longer applicable. Because coal is no longer mined at
the site, the source of supply for these fines does not exist.
28. Appendix "S" appears to have become a "catch-all" for miscellaneous documentation
relative to the Permit. Because it contains documents pertinent to the reclamation
activity, and others which are out of date or no longer necessary, complete review is
suggested. Those items no longer needed should be deletcd/archivcd and the remainder
should be examined for possible inclusion elsewhere within the context of the Permit
document.
•
