The Division of Wildlife has made a recommendation to include a small island in order to enhance certain wildlife habitat, and to leave the pit floor ungraded. This Uivision concurs with these recommendations and would like to see them incorporated into your plan. 2. We are concerned that a seed mixture of only two species will not meet the requirement of Rule 6.5(a) in which the cover shall be "diverse, effective, and long lasting...". We wuuld recommend, at a inini~num, that one additional species be added to the proposed mixture. We would recommend adding 5 lbs/acre Western Wheatgrass. 3.
