<br />DRAFT - <br />Velma Frank Mining Proposal <br />1) The 9.9 acre gravel development area may be fenced to protect the <br />mining operation facilities from vandalism and public interference and, <br />also, to protect the public from potential danger during operations. <br />The duration of the operation will be from four to five years. At the <br />duration, the land and lake, or lakes resulting from the project will be <br />open for the use of the public for hunting, fishing and other outdoor <br />recreation. During the mining operation, the remainder of the area in- <br />cluded in the existing easement will be open to public use as permitted <br />under the existing easement. <br />2) Reclamation of the mined area will be carried out in accordance with <br />standards established by Colorado Mined Land Reclamation and the Soil <br />Conservation Service. <br />3) Augmentation requirements as established by the Colorado Division of <br />Water Resources will be met during and after mining operations. A letter <br />confirming concurrence in augmentation requirements will be provided by <br />Pfrs. Frank or her representative. Any waste water discharge also will <br />be according to standards established by Mined Land Reclamation. <br />4) The pond or lake banks will be shaped to side slopes of 4:1 above <br />the waterline. A 3:1 slope will be shaped from waterline to a point 10 <br />feet below waterline and 2:1 below the 10 foot water depth. <br />
