Culbert. <br />Museum of Northern Arizona, summer 1967 <br />Worked as member of crew surveying Paria Plateau area in <br />northern Arizona. Director was Alexander Lindsay. <br />Canyon del Oro Survey, winter and spring 1968 <br />Surveyed portion of watercourse near Tucson, Arizona <br />on weekends with my wife. ___ -- _ <br />Tabun Project, summer 1968 <br />Worked on crew excavating PQousterian levels of Tabun Cave <br />in Israel. Spent half of the time processing excavated <br />materials in lab. Director was Arthur Jelinek. <br />Chalchuapa Project, January - June 1969 <br />Directed survey and test pitting portion of investigation <br />of the Chalchuapa site zone in E1 Salvador. The field <br />director of the project was Robert Sharer. <br />Kaminaljuyu Project, June 1969 - October 1970 <br />Assisted Dr. Ronald Wetherington in the analysis of the <br />ceramics excavated during the current excavations. I <br />also devised a classification of vessel shapes for the <br />Kaminaljuyu ceramics and did the research that was the <br />subject of my Ph.D. thesis. During five months of that <br />time I acted as interim field director and supervised <br />thirteen lab personnel. The director of the project was <br />William T. Sanders. <br />Arizona Archeological Center (NPS), summer 1972 <br />Evaluated the archeological input of environmental impact •\ <br />statements submitted by federal agencies. _.___ J <br />
