The location of the piton Page 2 of the cpplicatton (untl <br />in Exhibit A) is also described by means of the "Costilla Estates Survey" with which the Division is not <br />familiar. The townships employed in [hat survey do not equate with those in the Colorado Survey which is <br />~r based on the 6'" Principal Meridian although you have indicated [hat the Costilla Estates Survey is also <br />,ty~ ~ based on the 6'" Principal Meridian. <br />v" ~ Plea;e.describe the relationship between lhe:Costitla Estates Survey and the-Coloradn.Survey and <br />how it can be based on the 6'" Principal Meridian from which it is so far removed. Please also indicate how <br />much area the Costilla Estates Survey covers together with its boundaries. <br />PAGE 2 OF APPLICATION: The post-mining land use for the permit area is indicated to be <br />, Industrial/Commercial which is acceptable to the Division if the area of the pit is zoned by the County for <br />~i Off. that purpose. <br />!~/ Please provide evidence that the permit area is zoned for industrial/commercial use. <br />EXHIBCC B, Section (b): You have stated that there are no permanent man-made structures within <br />200 feet of the affected area but your survey plat and maps indicate that State Highway 142 lies within that <br />distance. There also may be fences along the highway right-of-way and along some of the boundaries of the <br />property that you have not considered. <br />U% Please indicate your awareness that Slate Highway 142 is a permanent man-made structure lying <br />with 200 feet of the area to be affected by the operation.
