`J
_77_
MR. LENZ: I was with you. Joel Lenz, and I was sworn at the last
meeting, also.
MR. BARRY: Let me just ask Prax. Understanding this dialogue, and I
don't think it's critical about who said what to whom, if -- if what Dean says
is correct, that within a certain amount of time of having hazardous materials
on site, they will notify you, I hear a commitment from them here today which
I will intend to hold them to. That, you know, as of the date that stuff
arrives on site, they wil 1 get with you to do -- to take care of that
problem. Are you satisfied with that response? I don't, unless I mistake
what you told us earlier, the law which is not our law, does not require any
action other than what they're willing to commit to today. I mean, I want to
know if you are satisfied with that response?
MR. ORTEGA: No, I'm not satisfied, because I've been having -- had --
• all them letters are all unanswered.
MR. DODSON: Do you recall the conversation we had in the County
Commissioner's Office regarding Title III of SARA?
MR. ORTEGA: No, I don't recall.
MR. HOLDER: Mr. Dodson, would it be possible for you to respond to those
letters stating in writing that it is your intention to comply when the time
is appropriate, that sort of thing.
MR. DODSON: Certainly. I thought I had addressed it with Prax in the
first letter. Then I got the second one, and I haven't been back in the
office.
MR. HOLDER: I think it'd be wise if you could handle that 'in writing.
