3.0 SUBSIDENCE CONTROL PLAN (RULE 2.05.6(6)(f)) <br />• 3.1 Introduction <br />The subsidence control plan presents a detailed description <br />of the measures to be taken to prevent subsidence from causing <br />material damage or lessen the value or reasonable foreseeable use <br />of the structure. A discussion of the techniques utilized to <br />remove coal and the extent of subsidence, as required by RULE <br />2.05.6(6)(f)(A) and (B) are presented in Section 2.0 and are not <br />reiterated within this section. <br />As presented in the subsidence survey, four structures are <br />significantly impacted and could result in material damage or <br />diminution of reasonably foreseeable use by the planned mining. <br />These structures consist of: <br />• Ranch house. <br />• • Refuse pile. <br />• Power lines. <br />• Florence water line. <br />All other areas will require only minor mitigation, such as <br />traffic control, repair of affected utilities or regrading to re- <br />establish roadways, drainageways or to prevent ponding of water. <br />Specific road sections or drainageways, which could be affected, <br />are those which cross the limits of mining and are shown on the <br />Mine Plan Map in Appendix A. <br />3.2 Ranch House <br />A subsidence control plan for the ranch buildings is not <br />required as outlined in Section 2.6.1 of the subsidence survey. <br />. 3.3 Refuse Pile <br />As presented in Section 2.0, the only significant impact, <br />26 <br />
